“We created this museum to honor the people and groups who give of themselves to make our community a better place… This museum matters to me because it gives me the opportunity to honor real, impactful forms of service that not only inspire other students to lead, but form bonds between diverse communities. The people and groups we chose are very different from each other, but they have some things in common. They all have been part of our story for a very long time. Many have been with us since the program’s first year. They all see students as equal partners in creating positive change. They empower and uplift us. They all take the time to be present with us. They are part of our community.” - Chloe, 9th Grade
This museum is designed to grow over time to honor all the people and groups who represent what it means to serve.
